David L. Reichart is Head of Business Development for Principal Funds. In this role, he is responsible for the long-term growth of mutual fund products, focusing on specific asset classes and franchise fund products.

Reichart joined the Principal Financial Group^® in 1991. He served as Executive Director of Relationship Management and Distribution for Principal Global Investors before being named Senior Vice President of Principal Management Corporation in 2006. He is responsible for determining the asset allocation, manager selection, and on-going monitoring and rebalancing of the Global Diversified Income Fund, Diversified Real Asset Fund, and Global Multi-Strategy Fund.
