The chart of the week looks at the various quantitative easing programs and how they have impacted the markets.  It also demonstrates that when these programs end investors are stuck with the reality that the fundamental economy is not as strong as we would like it to be.  The early announcement of Q/E 3 did not seem like it was going to be overly beneficial.  However, as of lately market have once again jumped on the Fed express and markets continue to trend up.

Although the recent rally has been nice be careful if the Fed starts talking about phasing out or ending the Q/E 3 program.  Bullish investors will tell you not to fight the Fed but cautious investors will tell you to hedge your risk.
